Bosch Rexroth Pneumatics developed the Easy-2-Combine system to provide modular solutions for common small-part handling and positioning operations in automation processes. The system consists of a family of individual pneumatic actuators — slides, rodless cylinders, rotary modules, and grippers — that can be connected directly to each other to build multi-axis part-manipulating modules in a wide variety of configurations. The actuators' standardized interfaces make module assembly (and disassembly) quick and simple, as centering elements interlock the individual units. Many Easy-2-Combine components feature easily adjusted end-position settings, further reducing final commissioning time. The system also includes connections for sensors and the air supply at several locations — making it versatile and eliminating any need for complicated and expensive connection kits.
