Poclain Exhibiting Latest Drive and Transmission Products
At CONEXPO 2026, Poclain plans to exhibit its newest hydraulic and electric drive and transmission technologies.
One such technology is the MHD HEVO Dual range featuring a two-displacement design that prioritizes small displacement operation to optimize energy efficiency through high-pressure, low-flow conditions. Per the company, this range utilizes a groundbreaking hydraulic distribution method to sustain high power at high speeds, even during long duty cycles. Evenly distributing stress across components enables long-term durability. Motors and shafts in this range are suited for applications requiring high speed, productivity and torque.
HEVO Booster is another technology Poclain will have on display. It is a stand-alone pressure amplification system intended to be installed upstream of hydraulic actuators. The booster provides intermittent pressure boosts only when needed, allowing for use of smaller actuators while lowering hydraulic fluid flow and higher average pressure ratings. Poclain says the booster is based on cam-lobe technology and can reduce hydraulic circuit size by up to 50% as well as simplify hydraulic system designs and reduce energy consumption.
On the electrification side of things, Poclain will show its eWheel technology designed specifically for heavy-duty off-highway equipment applications. The eWheel is an all-in-one electric wheel motor which integrated the inverter and all connections to create a compact and simplified system solution — something OEMs are requesting more of these days to reduce design time and get products into market faster.
Poclain also intends to show how it brings hydraulic and electric technologies together with its hybrid e+h system. It combines hydraulic components based on cam-lobe in-wheel technology with state-of-the-art electric drives, power electronics, and advanced embedded control software to provide an optimized full-system solution.
