Series 520 hydraulically applied caliper disc brake for on- and off-highway equipment braking uses a modulated hydraulic pressure source, such as a master cylinder, to control brake torque. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally. Two ductile iron caliper halves are pressurized by a single inlet port cross-over tube feature, which allows hydraulic pressure to actuate the 214-in. diameter piston in each half. It provides continuous duty pressure of 1000 psi and intermittent duty pressure of 1500 psi.
