Swage-Sert threaded inserts have a thinwall design that allows them to be used with minimum boss requirements to reduce weight and increase strength. They are locked securely into parent material by swaging locking knurl of insert into the wall of parent material. They repair stripped, damaged, or worn out threads and can strengthen threads and extend thread life in soft base materials such as aluminum or magnesium. They are available in a full range of inch and metric sizes, in A286 and 17-4 PH corrosion-resistant steels, and 4130 alloy steel.
