A single lever joystick has taken command of boom and bucket functions in all three models of the 500E series wheel loaders from Dressta North America, Buffalo Grove, Ill. Designed to give the operator fingertip control of the bucket and boom, the ergonomically designed control lever uses pilot pressure to actuate valve spools, making operation smooth and easy. All three models in the series — the 103-hp 510E, the 120-hp 515E, and the 142-hp 520E — also feature hydrostatic steering to provide smooth, yet responsive control while producing less operator fatigue.
