Spectroline OIL-GLO 44 fluorescent leak-detection dye for hydraulic systems, air compressors, cylinders, and more is a full-spectrum blend of two fluorescent dyes — one fluoresces best under ultraviolet light, the other under blue light. After it circulates, dye escapes with oil and remains at the site of all leaks. When scanned with ultraviolet or blue light, the dye glows bright yellow-green. It remains safely in the system until the oil is changed, so regular inspections will detect future leaks.
