Model 7180 hydraulic lube-oil filter is designed for use with 718 and 736 style filter cartridges. They are rated for flows to 50 and 100 gpm, respectively. Housings are rated to 150 psi and incorporate an eyenut cover that is easily removed for quick cartridge change-out. Side-in/side-out piping arrangement is available with 1, 11⁄2, and 2 in. NPT connections. They are rated to 1 µ absolute and 100 µ nominal. Cartridges have a 95% filtration rating at 1, 5, 10, 20 and 30 µm.

They are made from Phenolic impregnated cellulose and operate in temperatures to 250°F (121°C) with a change-out of ∆P of 25 psid (1.7 bar).
Housings are electropolished for a smooth, easy to clean surface.
In a departure from conventional wisdom, motion control can be implemented to increase production rate and product quality and consistency—all at the same time.
Newcomers to medical device design may think pressure and flow rate are sufficient parameters whenselecting a pump. While this may be true in some industrial applications, medical...
Variable volume pumps, also known as precision dispense pumps, are a positive displacement pump that operates by retracting a piston to aspirate a fluid and then extending the...
Acheck valve, a non-return or one-way valve, is a mechanical device that allows a gas or liquid to flow freely in one direction while preventing reverse flow in the opposite ...
Engineers tasked with managing fluid flow talk about both holes and calibrated orifices, but they are two distinct entities. A hole can be any opening, but a calibrated orifice...
