Powerband tight tolerance premium wear-rings are made from nylon, glass fiber, PTFE, and offer a coefficient of friction nearly 50% lower than other sealing options. They feature cross-section tolerances of ±0.001 in., chamfered corners, and scarf or angle-cut end gaps. Tight tolerances improve alignment and concentric operation of cylinder rods and pistons. Chamfered corners accommodate cylinder housing grooves, improving piston and rod alignment. Scarf-cut end gap reduces bearing loss support during cylinder side-loading.
