Four new ISO standards published

Sept. 1, 2004
ISO 16656: 2004, Hydraulic fluid power — Single rod, shortstroke cylinders with bores from 32 to 100 mm for use at 10 MPa (100 bar) — Mounting dimensions. Establishes mounting dimensions for single rod short-stroke cylinders with bores from 32 t

ISO 16656: 2004, Hydraulic fluid power — Single rod, shortstroke cylinders with bores from 32 to 100 mm for use at 10 MPa (100 bar) — Mounting dimensions. Establishes mounting dimensions for single rod short-stroke cylinders with bores from 32 to 100 mm for use at 10 MPa (100 bar), as required for dimensional interchangeability of commonly used hydraulic cylinders.

ISO 16874:2004, Hydraulic fluid power — Identification of manifold assemblies and their components. Provides identification coding for manifolds used in hydraulic systems and for component installation features of such manifolds.

ISO 17082:2004, Pneumatic fluid power —Valves — Data to be included in supplier literature. Specifies which data are to be included in the manufacturer's supplier literature that accompanies any kind of pneumatic valve. These data help select the proper valve for a particular application.

ISO 21287:2004, Pneumatic fluid power — Cylinders — Compact cylinders, 1000 kPa (10 bar) series, bores from 20 to 100 mm. Establishes a metric series of single rod pneumatic compact cylinders for use at a maximum working pressure of 1000 kPa (10 bar), with and without magnetic function.
