Bill Tulloch Jr., past president and CEO of RHM Fluid Power
William (Bill) W. Tulloch Jr., past president and CEO of RHM Fluid Power, Westland, Mich., passed away last month. He was 82.
Tulloch Jr. began his fluid power career with Racine Hydraulics, and in 1960 joined the newly formed organization of Racine Seco Sales, Detroit.
Racine Seco Sales flourished and eventually was renamed RHM Fluid Power. Under Tulloch’s guidance and leadership, RHM became a leader in fluid power systems manufacturing and distribution. He retired in 1996.
Tulloch Jr. was also active in the fluid power industry, having served as a president of the Fluid Power Distributors Association (FPDA), in which he was one of the founding members. He was also a leading proponent of the inclusion of manufacturers into the FPDA.
Tulloch Jr. also served as president of Detroit Chapter 1 of the Fluid Power Society and as a trustee of the Fluid Power Education Foundation.
He is preceded in death by his wife Margret, and is the father of RHM Fluid Power’s current CEO, William (Bill) W. Tulloch, III.
