Clippard Instrument Laboratory, Cincinnati, has completed phase two of the launch of its expanded 3D catalog powered by TraceParts, a digital engineering content company. It now includes its electronic and control valve miniature pneumatic lines at
http://bit.ly/Clippard3DTrace.
Clippard Minimatic components are used for control, interface, sensing, logic, and actuation functions. This broad range of applications spans a variety of industries including: machinery, packaging, medical equipment, processing, textiles, animation, agriculture, material handling, assembly, and more. Clippard provides standard and special products and assemblies.
“Our customers have been asking for 3D models of all of our products to include in their designs,” says Clippard’s Jim Coshnitzke. “To satisfy these requests, we have launched a three-phase project to add our entire product line to our TraceParts 3D catalog. This update completes phase two and provides three-dimensional models of our popular electronic and control valve product lines.”
Searching can be done by part name or latest updates. In addition, a menu lists the basic components provided on the site, with subcategories for specific component types, including Minimatic electronic valves, cylinders, cylinder accessories, and control valves.
Selecting a component gives the user the chance to preview either a 2D and 3D dimensional drawing, which can be rotated and downloaded for a variety of popular engineering software. It also supplies key specifications in chart format, such as sizes, flow rates, pressure ratings, and more.
The TraceParts 3D rendering will help users save time and make better design decisions faster than with paper-based catalogs. There are currently 576 Clippard components listed on the site.
