Inclinometers

March 11, 2013
BSI inclination (tilt) sensors feature a non-contact absolute measuring principle, offering high repeat accuracy, precision and low temperature drift. They provide continuous positioning of rotational movements, measuring the deviation on a horizontal axis up to 360°.
BSI inclination (tilt) sensors feature a non-contact absolute measuring principle, offering high repeat accuracy, precision and low temperature drift. They provide continuous positioning of rotational movements, measuring the deviation on a horizontal axis up to 360°. They can operate in temperatures down to –40°C. Two sizes have measuring ranges up to ±45° and 0-360°. They offer ±0.01° resolution and can interface with 4-20 mA or Modbus RTU RS-485. They r
equire very little space for mounting and are ideal for a variety of applications, from monitoring the tower tilt on wind energy systems (pictured) to positioning parabolic troughs on solar-thermal power plants, and positioning radiation treatment tables in medical technologies to setting up oil pumps over a borehole in oil and gas extraction.
