Suction strainers feature type 304 stainless steel mesh sizes from 4 to 100 with a 1/8- to 3-in. nylon NPT base. These strainers are rated for continuous use up to 200°F, and custom mesh sizes are available. They are most commonly used in hydraulic applications but can protect pumps from damage by the ingress of foreign debris in any application involving air or liquid media.
