Moog added a size 140 cc Electrohydrostatic Pump Unit (EPU) to its line, which includes product sizes ranging from 19 to 250 cc. This modular approach is designed to help customers choose the best product to fit their application requirements. The product family now also offers either constant or dual displacement pumps. With a decentralized drive system, the EPU eliminates the need for a hydraulic power unit and complex piping and reduces the overall production machinery footprint. Its compact design features an interface permitting direct mounting on a cylinder, minimizing the need for additional space on each axis. This also makes installation and maintenance easier, lowering the total cost of ownership.
