HAWE Hydraulics Builds New Production Facility

The new plant in Kaufbeuren, Germany is the largest investment project in HAWE’s history. The plant will manufacture valves for mobile hydraulic applications, such as construction equipment, concrete pumps, and agriculture and forestry machines.
The new plant in Kaufbeuren, Germany is the largest investment project in HAWE’s history. The plant will manufacture valves for mobile hydraulic applications, such as construction equipment, concrete pumps, and agriculture and forestry machines.

The facility has a production area approximately 355,000 square feet, making it HAWE’s largest plant. There are four factory halls and capacity for about 750 employees per shift. During the early stages there will be nearly 400 employees and 60 apprentices.

The plant features state-of-the-art mechanical engineering, production and assembly technology; lean production processes; ergonomic workstations on the production floor; environmentally friendly production technologies and a training facility.
