PIRTEK Starts 2026 on Positive Note, Expects Further Growth

PIRTEK opened 12 new service locations in the first quarter of 2026 and expects continued demand for its hydraulic and industrial hose services will drive further growth during the year.

Hydraulic and industrial hose services company PIRTEK USA reports it has started 2026 on a positive note. In the first quarter of the year, it opened 12 service locations in various parts of the U.S., aiding its continued growth and expansion across the country.

There are now over 200 locations in 35 states and Puerto Rico offering hose maintenance and replacement services for a variety of industries.

This builds on the strong growth the company achieved in 2025, during which it set new records for franchise development, systemwide expansion, and new location openings.

While many segments of the fluid power industry, and the broader economy, have faced challenging market conditions due to various factors, PIRTEK’s continued growth demonstrates the viability of maintenance services.

I’ve heard it said in many presentations from economists over the years that the maintenance sector is able to weather most economic conditions. This is because of its necessity. Downtime means loss of productivity, and thus loss of business.

And when economic conditions are poor, machine owners tend to prioritize spending money on maintaining their equipment to extend its life instead of investing in new machinery.

To gain a better understanding of the market conditions aiding PIRTEK’s continued growth and the opportunities it sees ahead in 2026, I spoke with James Doyle, Chief Marketing Officer of PIRTEK USA. Doyle offered his insights on trends driving the need for the company’s hose services, regions where demand is highest and more.

Power & Motion: Are there any particular market factors or industry trends you think are contributing to the growth/need for services provided by PIRTEK?

James Doyle: We’re seeing sustained demand driven by continued investment in infrastructure, manufacturing, and logistics, all of which rely heavily on equipment uptime.

As operations become more time-sensitive, businesses can’t afford unexpected downtime, which makes rapid, on-site service more valuable than ever. That’s where PIRTEK continues to play a critical role.

Power & Motion: Do you expect demand for hydraulic and industrial hose services to remain strong in 2026? If so, why? What will drive this demand?

James Doyle: Yes, we expect demand to remain strong throughout the remainder of the year. The industries we serve are foundational to the economy, and the need for reliable, responsive service doesn’t fluctuate with short-term conditions. Ongoing infrastructure development, coupled with the push for greater operational efficiency, will continue to drive demand.

Power & Motion: What regions are you seeing the most demand for PIRTEK hose services currently?

James Doyle: Demand has remained consistent across the country, particularly in regions with strong industrial, construction, manufacturing, transportation, and logistics activity.

Markets experiencing infrastructure growth, warehouse expansion, and heavy equipment utilization continue to drive strong demand for responsive onsite service. At the same time, the need for uptime is universal, as businesses across all industries rely on minimizing downtime to maintain productivity and control costs. This consistent nationwide demand continues to support our national expansion strategy and reinforces the value of delivering fast, reliable service wherever customers operate.

Power & Motion: Are there any new opportunity areas you see in the year ahead?

James Doyle: Our goal is to continue to expand our coverage area. After surpassing 200 locations in 35 states and Puerto Rico, we see continued opportunity in expanding into underserved markets where demand for our services is still catching up to industry needs.

As these sectors continue to grow, so does the need for partners who can keep operations running without interruption. We also see meaningful opportunity to deepen our presence in existing markets by increasing density and further strengthening relationships with national and regional customers.
