Polyethylene tubing — linear low-density and co-extruded with EVA (ethylene vinyl acetate) versions — is made from FDA-approved non-toxic ingredients. Low-density version is lightweight and chemically inert and comes in 12 sizes from 0.170- to 1 1/2-in. ID. It resists stress cracking and stays flexible at temperatures below 0° F. Co-extruded version also conforms to USP Class VI standards and provides flexibility because of bonded EVA outer layer. It operates in temperatures below 100° F and comes in nine sizes from ⅛- to 1-in. ID.
In a departure from conventional wisdom, motion control can be implemented to increase production rate and product quality and consistency—all at the same time.
Newcomers to medical device design may think pressure and flow rate are sufficient parameters whenselecting a pump. While this may be true in some industrial applications, medical...
Variable volume pumps, also known as precision dispense pumps, are a positive displacement pump that operates by retracting a piston to aspirate a fluid and then extending the...
Acheck valve, a non-return or one-way valve, is a mechanical device that allows a gas or liquid to flow freely in one direction while preventing reverse flow in the opposite ...
