Registration Opens for IFPE 2023

Aug. 2, 2022
Registration is now open for IFPE 2023, one of the largest shows for the fluid power, power transmission and motion control industry.

Registration for the 2023 edition of the International Fluid Power Exposition (IFPE) and co-located CONEXPO-CON/AGG is now open. IFPE brings together the latest in fluid power, power transmission and motion control technologies while CONEXPO is considered to be North America's largest trade show for the construction industry.

Attendees can register for the events at IFPE.com or CONEXPOCONAGG.com to get their badge, sign up for educational sessions as well as make hotel arrangements.

Power & Motion readers interested in registering for IFPE can use the code PR40 to save 40% on their badge cost through October 28, 2022.

"IFPE is the heart and soul of the equipment manufacturing industry," said IFPE Show Director John Rozum in the Association of Equipment Manufacturers' (AEM) press release announcing the opening of registration. "Because we feature the fluid power, power transmission and motion control technology that makes everything in the industry move. In addition to that, IFPE education sessions and Fluid Power Workshops qualify for Professional Development Hours."

Between IFPE and CONEXPO, over 170 educational sessions will be held from Tuesday, March 14 through Thursday, March 16. The IFPE educational tracks currently include:

  • IoT- Smart Systems/Connected Systems
  • Electrification of Vehicle Powertrains (hybrid to fully electric)
  • Electrification of motion control
  • Equipment Up-Time Optimization and Availability
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Machine Safety
  • Autonomous Equipment/Machines
  • Professional Development (career development, workforce issues, economics)

Two fluid power workshops will also be held on Monday, March 13 by educators from Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE):

  • Fundamentals of Hydraulic Systems 101 by Dr. Medhat Khalil's, Director of Professional Education
  • Hydraulic Fluid Properties, Efficiency and Contamination Control by Paul Michael, Research Chemist

Leading up to IFPE, organizers have released white papers covering key topics and trends impacting the fluid power and motion control industries, many of which will also be highlighted at the show. With these white papers, the industry can get a better understanding of what is taking place in the industry as well as learn about what may be on display during IFPE 2023.
