The 7th International Fluid Power Conference (IFK) will be held in Aachen, Germany March 22-24, 2010. The Institute for Fluid Power Drives and Controls at RWTH Aachen University and the Institute of Fluid Power at TU Dresden organize this scientific conference, which highlights advances in hydraulic and pneumatic drive and control systems.
The theme will be “Efficiency through Fluid Power.” A Scientific Workshop and the technical conference itself will cover mobile hydraulics, pneumatics, simulations, new applications, tribology and fluids, fundamentals, automation and control, valves, and new measuring methods.
Scientific poster sessions will highlight additional research and development work in fluid power accessories, measuring and testing technology, hardware and software for digital signal processing, simulation of fluid-power components and systems, and literature.
Finally, attendees have an opportunity to visit the experimental and test facilities of the Institute for Fluid Power Drives and Controls. A two-day excursion following the conference takes attendees to Voith Paper, the Ford Fiesta automotive factory, and the radio telescope in Effelsberg.
