S-type quick couplings feature an optical pressure indicator and downstream pressure exhaust system. Indicator allows a safe disconnect by showing a red ring on the coupling socket if operating pressure is greater than 14.7 psi. Exhaust relieves line pressure at start of disconnect and before plug can be extracted from the socket. They are available for G 1 /8, G 1 /4 and G3 /8 connections and are rated for flows of 1.08, 1.24, and 1.51 Cv, pressures to 180 psi, and operating temperatures from -14° to 140° F.
