The Micropulse AT model BTL6 magnetostrictive transducer is designed for most mid-range linear position feedback applications. Mechanical linkage is eliminated as source of backlash error, physical breaks, and downtime. Sealed to IP67 and contains no moving parts. Offers 10-µm resolution, 200-µm linearity, and repeatability down to 10 µm. Updates its position every 2 msec and doesn't require re-homing on power-up.
