In-line filters feature a cartridge that is easily visible through clear, polycarbonate housing. A twist of the bayonet-style fastener separates the housing components for cleaning or replacement of the cartridge. They are available in both porous and plastic cone designs. Standard ends include 3⁄8-in. ID barbs but include optional threaded fittings. Ends can be male and female luers and elbows.
