ZAPI GROUP Releases Agenda for Future of Electrification Event
The agenda for ZAPI GROUP’s Future of Electrification virtual event is now available. Taking place April 21-22, 2026, the event is geared toward anyone developing and using electric industrial, commercial and utility vehicles.
This year’s theme is “From Hype to Reality” to offer insights into how electrification is being employed in the real world and the technologies currently enabling it.
Sessions held during the Future of Electrification 2026 event will feature representatives from companies working in the electrification space in various capacities, including CNH, Briggs & Stratton, Volvo Construction Equipment, Danfoss, Applied Engineering Systems, Inventus Power, Panasonic Energy, Flash Battery, Flux Power, Elsa Solutions, Forsee Power, Infineon, and more.
Yours truly will be leading a panel discussion on April 22 at 10 a.m. Central with executives from ZAPI GROUP and Delta-Q Technologies to discuss the current state of electrification. We’ll examine applications where electrification is proving beneficial, regional demands, current challenges and future innovation opportunities.
Other sessions which may be of interest to Power & Motion’s audience include the following:
- April 21 at 8 a.m. CDT – Lessons from Electrifying a Compact Dumper: Attendees will have the opportunity to learn how ZAPI GROUP helped convert a diesel-powered dumper to full-electric operation, and what this means for OEMs starting their electrification journey.
- April 21 at 11 a.m. CDT – System Level Electrification and the Integration of Hydraulics Controls and Power Electronics: This panel discussion with Applied Fluid Power and Danfoss Power Solutions will explore how real progress in electrified machines depends on full system integration across hydraulics controls and electric power systems. Panelists will share practical lessons from the field including hydraulic optimization strategies and coordinated control logic commissioning practices.
- April 21 at12 p.m. CDT – Taking the Next Step in the Electrification Journey of Off-Highway Mobile Machinery: This presentation from Benny Forsman of ZAPI GROUP will provide insight into the system designs necessary to propel electrification forward in the off-highway mobile machinery market.
- April 22 at 9 a.m. CDT – The Realities of Battery Technology in Modern Electrification: This panel discussion will bring together experts from Panasonic USA, Flux Power, Alliant Battery, and Forsee Power to offer their perspectives on where battery technology is at today, real-world performance metrics, and emerging technologies.
- April 22 at 11 a.m. CDT – Simulation-Driven Hydraulics for Off-Highway OEM Digital Transformation: CNH Industrial will discuss how simulation‑led hydraulic development supports smarter system design, improved efficiency, and the transition toward zero‑emission off‑highway machines.
The full agenda can be viewed on the event's website. Registration is open and free to anyone interested in attending.
