Model 958A compact housing linear displacement transducer measures less than 3.05 cm (1.2 in.) deep.
Model 958A compact housing linear displacement transducer measures less than 3.05 cm (1.2 in.) deep, making it appropriate for hydraulic cylinder applications where traditional rod-style transducers will not fit. It is designed to be simpler to install and service than embedded-style sensors while offering 1,000 Gs shock resistance and 30Gs vibration resistance, ensuring longer operating life. Made entirely from stainless steel, the LDT can be used in food and caustic applications. It also withstands cold water power washing. 16-bit output resolution provides reliable, absolute position feedback to help automate sophisticated machinery. Programmable zero and span points allow users to adjust the output to match their requirements. Magnetostrictive technology gives analog position feedback, accurate to 0.04% of the programmable sensing distance. It can withstand the conditions traditionally associated with hydraulic cylinders: operating pressures up to 5,000 psi and spikes to 10,000 psi with response times in milliseconds.
Newcomers to medical device design may think pressure and flow rate are sufficient parameters whenselecting a pump. While this may be true in some industrial applications, medical...
Variable volume pumps, also known as precision dispense pumps, are a positive displacement pump that operates by retracting a piston to aspirate a fluid and then extending the...
Acheck valve, a non-return or one-way valve, is a mechanical device that allows a gas or liquid to flow freely in one direction while preventing reverse flow in the opposite ...
Engineers tasked with managing fluid flow talk about both holes and calibrated orifices, but they are two distinct entities. A hole can be any opening, but a calibrated orifice...
