PT8600 string encoders consist of rotary encoders mated to linear cable reels to provide linear measurement up to 50 in. They can use incremental or absolute encoders and support common 2 and 2.5 in. square flange encoder mounts as well as 58 to 65 mm face-mount encoders. They provide quadrature, SSI, and DeviceNet digital outputs. Linear measurement is 5 in. or 125 mm per encoder shaft turn.
