Sintered snubbers

Sintered snubbers increase gauge readability by smoothing out pressure surges, pulsations and spikes, and eliminating instrument failure due to pressure shock. Snubbing action is achieved by using a corrosion-resistant 316 stainless-steel sintered disc, which is held in place by a 316 stainless-steel set screw. This allows for easy cleaning and replacement of the sintered disc. Simply remove the set screw, replace the disc and then re-insert the set screw. Replacement of the entire unit is no longer necessary.
