Temposonics MT magnetostrictive position sensor comprises a basic sensor element and evaluation electronics with separate output signal and supply voltage. Two sensor elements are housed in a standard, pressure-resistant, stainless-steel pipe for direct stroke measurement in hydraulic cylinders. Measurement systems are completely independent and can be switched on individually. It achieves a measuring range of 50 to 1500 mm. Non-linearity is less than 0.04% and repeatability is better than 0.005%.
