Clippard’s Cordis pressure control provides steady, repeatable downstream pressure as demand changes.
Combining its new microcontrollers with its existing EVP and DVP lines of proportional valves, Clippard’s Cordis pressure control provides steady, repeatable downstream pressure as demand changes. The result is a precise, closed-loop linear pressure control with high resolution (≤5 mV) and repeatability. The pressure control consists of a microcontroller, integrated pressure sensor, and two proportional valves. If the sensor detects a value higher than the set point, the exhaust valve will modulate open to vent off the excess pressure to maintain a stable and accurate control pressure in the process. The unit is adaptable to a variety of sensors that can close the control loop around pressure, vacuum, or flow.
