Aventics Corp. (formerly Bosch Rexroth Pneumatics Group), Lexington, Ky., recently launched a program, Discover the Ceramic Advantage. The program invites North American companies to try a Ceram valve free of charge. Users can interchange and upgrade a valve prone to downtime with a Ceram valve, which is said to be more tolerant of operation using dirty compressed air under harsh operating conditions.
