The Parker Hannifin VA130 mobile valve provides a modular and versatile design to enable its use for just about any hydraulic function. Features of the hydraulic valve include function-adapted spools, pressure compensators, and load signal pressure limiters which enable it to meet the requirements of load-sensing systems while offering reduced energy losses — key to meeting rising industry requests for improved energy efficiency.

Parker notes that because the valve is part of its VA Series, it is compatible for use with the VA450 and VA300 valves which makes it well suited for compact system designs with varying flow needs.

Another key feature of the VA130 valve is the fact that hydraulic or electrohydraulic actuation methods can be used with it, and an optional manual lever control is available in any combination within the same valve. This offers greater design flexibility for customers to adapt the valve to their specific application needs.

The valve can also be combined with tailor-made function manifold’s from Parker to provide further customization of auxiliary function control. According to Parker, this integration reduces the number of system components, simplifies hydraulic system design, and enhances overall reliability and ease of maintenance — all of which are design priorities for heavy-duty mobile equipment manufacturers.

Additional features and benefits of the VA130 valve include:

  • maximum flow rate of 130 lpm (35 gpm)
  • operating pressures up to 370 bar (5,366 psi)
  • normally closed, 4-way functionality
  • pre-compensated, load-independent flow control
  • function-adapted main spools for precise machine operation
  • load-sensing pressure limitation, active tank gallery refilling, and emissions reduction technologies
  • dedicated measuring points and integrated spool position sensors to enable performance monitoring.
