The National Fluid Power Association's (NFPA) most recent published data indicatees that shipments of fluid power products for February 2013 decreased 11.8 percent compared to February 2012, and decreased 3.5 percent compared to January. The data shows that mobile and industrial hydraulic and pneumatic shipments decreased in February when compared to February 2012, and all three also dropped compared to January of this year.
Hydraulic shipments were down 11.1 percent, while pneumatic shipments were only down 1.8 percent.
The data is collected from more than 80 manufacturers of fluid power products by NFPA's Confidential Shipment Statistics program each month.
