Clippard has developed a State Feedback Pinch Valve designed to provide precise, real-time valve status information for enhanced automation, improved diagnostics, and smarter process control. It verifies valve position both electronically and visually to provide immediate confirmation of valve activity without the need for external sensors or flow meters.

With this capability, Clippard says a standard pinch valve can thus be utilized as a data-ready control component. The ability to capture and use data is an increasingly important aspect in many applications to help improve productivity and efficiency, and as such has become an important capability to include in hydraulic and pneumatic components like Clippard’s State Feedback Pinch Valve.

Features of the State Feedback Pinch Valve include:
