Energy-isolation valves

July 11, 2013
L-O-X energy-isolation valves are intended to be the first valve used in a line supplying compressed air to equipment. Constructed of 316 stainless steel, it is shut off by pushing its handle, which routes downstream air through its exhaust port. The valves accept inlet pressure to 300 psig and come with NPT standard or BSPP port threads. Features include a self-draining, washdown-suitable design, lockable only in the off position, large exhaust port for rapid pressure release, and standard pressure sensing port with optional pressure switch or visual indicator.
