Fluorescent leak-detection dyes
The Spectroline fluoresent leak-detection dyes are designed for oil-based industrial fluid systems. Seven colors differentiate between different types of leaking fluid. The dyes work with any fluid and will not damage fluid properties or system components. As part of a preventive-maintenance program, the dyes can safely remain in the system for periodic rechecks until the oil is changed. The dyes are filtered down to 2 µm.
