Eaton Names New President for Hydraulics Group

Eaton Corp. has appointed Paulo Ruiz president of its Hydraulics Group in Eden Prairie, Minn.

Eaton Corp. has appointed Paulo Ruiz president of its Hydraulics Group in Eden Prairie, Minn. He will report to Uday Yadav, president and chief operating officer of the company’s Industrial Sector.

“Paulo’s strong customer focus, extensive operational experience and record of building talented teams in diverse operating environments will be highly beneficial to our business,” Yadav said.

Paulo Ruiz

Ruiz joins Eaton after spending more than 18 years with Siemens, most recently as the chief executive officer of its Dresser-Rand Business, where he integrated Siemens’ rotating equipment business within Dresser-Rand. Prior to Siemens, Ruiz spent six years with Fiat, where he held roles in operations, commercial, and engineering.

Ruiz succeeds Curt Hutchins who will lead the spin-off of Eaton’s Lighting business.
