Components Manufacturer Appoints Two New Company Leaders

Galland Henning Nopak Inc., a manufacturer of high-density balers and hydraulic and pneumatic valves and cylinders, revealed that it will appoint Brian Sternberg to President and Sudarshan Sharma to Chief Engineer.

The announcement of the management team expansion comes as the business celebrates its 130-year anniversary in 2017.

Sternberg joined Galland Henning Nopak in 2014 as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Previously Director of Sales for Tobul Accumulator Inc., and Inside Sales Manager and National Accounts Representative for the Hedland Div. of Racine Federated, Inc., he brings more than 17 years of experience in fluid power technology.

Sternberg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University, and an Associate Degree in Fluid Power Technology from Gateway Technical College. He also has a Professional Certificate in Industrial Distribution from Purdue University. Sternberg served as a Field Artillery Officer in the United States Army National Guard, including one tour in Iraq from 2005 to 2007.

Sharma will be responsible for management of all engineering at Galland Henning Nopak, including product design and development. He has more than 20 years in mechanical engineering management, design, and development of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic cylinders.

Sharma also served in engineering management roles for The Oilgear Co. and Eaton Corp. Sharma is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds a Master of Engineering Management from Duke University and a M.S. Mechanical Engineering degree from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee.
