    The International Fluid Power Society has declared June 19th as Fluid Power Professionals' Day— a day to recognize all who work in the fluid power industry.

    IFPS suggests we take the time to celebrate with your friends and colleagues in the industry and suggests some ways to celebrate the day. They remind us, however, that it’s “Your day to celebrate your way!” 

    But that's not all. IFPS is also sponsoring a photo contest, where you can win a $50 gift card and other prizes. Click here for details.

    Alan joined Hydraulics & Pneumatics in 1987 with experience as a technical magazine editor and in industrial sales. He graduated with a BS in engineering technology from Franklin University and has also worked as a mechanic and service coordinator.
