Originally founded in 2002 as a joint venture between Atos SpA and ten North American hydraulics distributors, Fluid Power Associates Inc. has served as the North American master distributor for the Atos brand of electrohydraulic components for more than 13 years.  During this time FPA contributed to the success of Atos SpA by developing significant business throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. To most effectively capitalize on this momentum, Atos included in its announcement that its existing team of regional sales managers throughout North America will join the newly formed Atos North America to best serve customers throughout the transition.

Gary Rosenberger, General Manager of Atos North America  and formerly President of Fluid Power Associates, offered, “With a strong distributor network, industry-leading customer service, and a highly committed staff, Fluid Power Associates has seen steady growth here in North America.  Atos has some of the most advanced solutions for the modern hydraulics customer, and we expect continued growth as we prove this to the market.  Having the Atos Regional Sales Managers join the organization will make us even more effective in doing this and improve the customer experience when working with Atos.”

Additional information provided by Atos indicates the company intends to continue to invest in the newly acquired Atos North America and expand its breadth and depth of capabilities as it did with its Shanghai division, a business unit for its global organization.  Giovanni Zucchelli, Sales & Marketing Manager for Atos, global added, “In China, our Atos Shanghai division has grown significantly in the past 10 years.  Now with over 70 staff members and $35 million in annual sales, this division serves as an example of what we intend for North America.  With a large, technologically advanced customer base similar to that of Europe, North America represents an important part of our growth strategy moving forward.”
