The countdown to CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 is on, with just under 100 days to go until one of the largest events for the construction industry begins on March 3. This triennial event showcases the latest construction equipment designs as well as fluid power, electromechanical and other technologies utilized in these machines.

A total of 2,000 exhibitors will cover 2.9 million square feet of exhibit space at the Las Vegas Convention Center. New for the 2026 edition is a components concentration area, encompassing the second level of South Hall at the convention center. This is where most hydraulic, pneumatic, sensor, transmission, and other component suppliers will be located, making it easier for those interested in learning about such technologies to find them.

Though no announcements have been made yet, there are sure to be a number of new technology introductions at the event from OEMs as well as fluid power and electromechanical solutions providers aimed at helping create more efficient and productive construction equipment. Like many other industries, trends such as automation, electrification and digitalization are shaping the design of machines and the systems within them to help the construction sector overcome labor challenges while still getting work done accurately and on time.

The Power & Motion team will of course be on site at CONEXPO 2026 as well to gain insights into the latest hydraulic, pneumatic and electromechanical technology developments. We’ll be sharing a booth with fellow EndeavorB2B publications Construction Equipment, Roads & Bridges and Rental Equipment Register located in the Grand Lobby of the convention center, between North and Central Halls, #GL20803.

Education to be a Key Part of CONEXPO 2026

Education has always been an important part of CONEXPO, and will be again at the 2026 event.

In addition to the workshops and educational sessions typically offered, show organizer the Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) is introducing the Ground Breakers Stage which it describes as a keynote platform showcasing autonomous tech, sustainable solutions and workforce innovations from global construction leaders. Session topics will include artificial intelligence (AI), sustainability and workforce growth.

Keynote speakers which have so far been announced are:

  • Jahmy Hindman, senior vice president & chief technology officer with John Deere, will discuss the innovation and technological advances propelling the construction industry forward with colleagues Maryanne Graves, manager, product management, and Jonny Spendlove, manager, precision construction, on March 3.
  • Dave Kranzler, Director of AWS IoT Services, at Amazon Web Services (AWS) who will speak on March 5 about how advances in AI, automation and connected technologies are reshaping the construction industry, reducing costs and creating safer, more sustainable jobsites.

NFPA Hosting Advanced Hydraulics Conference at CONEXPO

CONEXPO 2026 will include educational opportunities for those developing fluid power systems as well. The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) is hosting a 2-day Advanced Hydraulics Conference at the event geared toward off-highway vehicle and fluid power engineers.
