Faster GenYus Casting Solution Offers Ready-to-Use Manifold
Faster, an operating company of Helios Technologies, has introduced the GenYus casting solution for tractor rear-line applications. GenYus is a ready-to-use manifold designed to be compatible with most Selective Control Valves (SCV) for easy coupling of implements to agricultural equipment.
For OEM customers, the casting offers a ready-to-install solution that can help reduce manufacturing time and equipment investments while simplifying installation, all of which can lead to faster time to market.
Features offered by the GenYus casting solution include:
- lever mechanism enabling operators to connect and disconnect with ease for seamless and consistent coupling, reducing downtime
- ability to host different cartridge types and sizes in a single unit, reducing the need for multiple components
- able to fit a variety of SCV configurations through use of adaptors
- three coupling sizes are available, 1/2 and 3/4 in. ISO A (poppet valve) and 5/8 in. ISO 16O28 (flat face), ensuring compatibility with the most common hydraulic standards in agriculture
- sliding automatic doors protect coupling area from dust and debris to guarantee reliable operation in various operating environments
- oil collection system allows operators to drain directly into the SCV or the tank, helping maintain system cleanliness and extend service intervals
- integrated auxiliary ports enable additional functions, including custom dirty-oil collection systems, to be added upon request.
"This casting solution addresses both customers’ and equipment operators’ pain points," stated Matteo Arduini, President of Hydraulics, Fluid Conveyance Solutions, Faster, in the company's press release announcing the launch of GenYus. "For our OEM customers it reduces costs, accelerates time to market and simplifies manufacturing processes. For tractor operators, it provides an easy-to-use, quick, and seamless connection experience, improving efficiency and reducing the time required for equipment changeouts."
