Manifolds use compound angle drilling to minimize construction drillings and plugs. Fewer plugs result in fewer leak points. Less construction drillings allows for more compact packages and smaller footprint. Cartridge valves provide generous porting areas; flow paths are more direct and larger drill diameters can be used, offering higher flow capacities and lower pressure drops.
