Tribology and lubrication design trends will be discussed at the 2025 STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition

Registration Open for 2025 STLE Annual Meeting

Dec. 23, 2024
The 2025 STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition will provide 5 days of technical training, education, and more for tribology and lubrication engineers.

Registration is now open for the Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) annual meeting to be held May 18-22 in Atlanta, GA.

The 2025 STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition will offer 5 days of technical training, industry education and more for those working in the field of tribology and lubrication engineering.

Other features of the annual meeting include a trade show with more than 100 exhibitors, 500 technical presentations, as well as discussion panels and a Student and Early Career Poster Competition.

A range of topics impacting tribology and lubrication design will be covered throughout the event including:

  • electric vehicles
  • metalworking fluids
  • sustainability in motion
  • artificial intelligence
  • condition monitoring
  • gears, bearings and other component applications.

Watch our interview below with Hong Liang, Ph.D., a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Texas A&M University, and 2023-2024 president of STLE to learn more about some of the trends impacting this industry.

Meanwhile, educational courses will focus on basic engineering information as well as advanced topics to help attendees at all skill levels gain the knowledge they need to aid with development of lubricants and other fluids. These courses help prepare individuals for STLE's three certification programs — Certified Lubrication Specialist, Oil Monitoring Analyst (I&II) and Certified Metalworking Fluid Specialist.

“The STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition is a cornerstone event for the tribology and lubrication engineering community,” said Rebecca Lintow, CAE, STLE executive director. “It provides an unparalleled opportunity for professionals to exchange knowledge, explore the latest technological advancements and network with industry leaders. Our goal is to foster collaboration and drive progress within our field, ensuring that our members stay at the forefront of industry developments.”

Further details, including registration deadlines, can be found on the STLE Annual Meeting & Exhibition website.
