About a month ago, I wrote about a
webinar series the NFPA was holding about using ISO standards to increase safety, efficiency, and reliability. The first in that six-part series will be held in just a little over two weeks, with “Safe, reliable and efficient pneumatic systems — Using ISO 4414 to design better pneumatic systems.”
The webinar will held Thursday, January 26 at 2 p.m. EST. It will also be later archived for future viewing. It will be presented by Gary Baumgardner, Chief Engineer, Parker Hannifin Corp. He will highlight general rules and safety requirements for systems and their components and provide guidance on how to design and build pneumatic systems that enhance a machine’s safety, reliability and efficiency.
These webinars are free to employees of NFPA members. For those from companies that are not members of NFPA, there is a $50 charge per webinar, or $200 charge for the series of six presentations.
