SSI output of R-series sensors is fast, with data update rate of 250 msec synchronized with external control clock, with as few as 16 msec between measurement data clock cycles. Synchronization provides accurate position output and minimizes delays for precise velocity loop control. Position sensing resolution is as low as 1 μm; resolution is adjustable from 1 to 100 mm. Built-in measurement nonlinearity correction improves sensing accuracy to as low as ±10 mm.
