HPTR series high-pressure tie rod hydraulic cylinders have a 3250 psig (225 bar) working pressure capability. They are offered with custom strokes to 7.25 ft (2.2 m), in increments of 1/4 in. (0.64 cm). Single- and double-acting designs are available with bores from 2 to 4 in. (5.08 to 10.16 cm) and rod diameters from 118 to 2 in. (2.86 to 5.08 cm). They are available with ASAE-type heavyduty ductile iron base and rod clevis ends; with or without clear zincplated clevis pins and clips. O-ring and backup static seals come on the cylinder barrels.
Ductile iron rod guides, “AN” style wiper for removing debris from rod surface, and gray iron piston with rugged bi-directional seal helps them withstand damaging environments.
Additional features include a double-lip U-cup rod seal, honed cylinder barrels, and standard SAE ORB ports, with or without SAE or NPTF adapter fittings and/or breather plugs. Cylinder breathers contain a screen element retained by a star washer. They are available for 3/8 and 1/2 in. NPTF and 9/16-18 UNF (SAE-6 ORB), and 3/4-16 UNF (SAE-8 ORB) thread sizes.
