Time Running Out to Submit Abstracts for FPIRC

May 2, 2015
Industry invited to submit presentations for the Fluid Power Innovation and Research Conference (FPIRC 2015). Deadline for Submission: May 15, 2015
The National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) and the Center for Compact and Efficient Fluid Power (CCEFP) invite both industry and academic researchers to submit an extended abstract of their work for consideration as a presentation at this year's Fluid Power Innovation & Research Conference (FPIRC 2015) in Chicago October 14 to 16. Presentations should address fundamental or applied research or innovative development in fluid power or closely related fields.

FPIRC is the premier conference for fluid power industry and academic research in North America. It connects industry to university resources and talent through technical sessions, networking opportunities, laboratory tours, and panel discussions on the technologies and workforce skills needed to continue growing the fluid power industry. It will be held October 14-16, 2015, at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel in downtown Chicago. The conference  is being held in conjunction with the Bath/ASME Symposium on Fluid Power, October 11-14 in Bath, England.

FPIRC extended its call for abstracts for the greater fluid power community to give an oral presentation at FPIRC15. The extended abstract should demonstrate  research work, its significance, and related challenges. It should include a synopsis of the presentation (objectives, scope, and results), background on the work, theory, methods, results, discussion, and references.  Research topics should address fundamental or applied research or innovative development in fluid power or closely related fields. A template is provided.
