Astrid Mozes Receives Women in Manufacturing Award

The Manufacturing Institute (MI) has recognized Astrid Mozes, chief technology officer of Eaton’s hydraulics group, as a role model for girls and young women looking to find a career in science, technology, engineering and manufacturing (STEM).
Astrid Mozes is the Chief Technology Officer and President of EMEA Hydraulics at Eaton Corp.

The Manufacturing Institute (MI) has recognized Astrid Mozes, chief technology officer of Eaton’s hydraulics group, as a role model for girls and young women looking to find a career in science, technology, engineering and manufacturing (STEM). Mozes is the recipient of the Women in Manufacturing STEP Ahead award, which acknowledges achievements and leadership in the manufacturing industry.

Mozes has been with Eaton since 1990, serving as president of the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) hydraulics sector for more than four years. As president, she has reached out to customers in more than 25 countries, helping to evolve and accelerate business globally. She also mentors and supports fellow female colleagues at Eaton. She holds a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering and manufacturing.

MI’s STEP award honors women who demonstrate excellence in management and manufacturing, from the factory floor to the C-suite. MI describes its goal as “honoring and promoting the role of women in the manufacturing industry through recognition, research and leadership” and to “inspire next-generation female leaders to pursue a career in manufacturing, showcasing the amazing opportunities the manufacturing industry can offer.”
