A robust 2007 sets the backdrop for the 2008 edition of Fluidtrans Compomac - Biennial International Exhibition of Fluid Power, Power and Motion Transmission, Drive, Control Equipment and Industrial Design- May 27 to 30, at fieramilano, Rho., Milan, Italy.

The show, in its 41st year, will reflect the strength in the industry, with year-to-end estimates showing widespread growth. A quarterly business survey based on a sample of fluid power companies and conducted by the Italian Association of Hydraulics and Pneumatics Manufacturers (Assofluid) confirms the overall positive trend. According to the survey, midterm results for 2007, compared with results over the same period in 2006, show a strong increase in sales across the board. Vigorous performance in all branches of activity indicates that the market is on the upturn and very likely to proceed into the second half of the year to end.

The show will again be held in conjunction with Technology Exhibitions Week in coincidence with BIAS, Biennial International Exhibition of Automation, Instrumentation, Microelectronics and ICT for Industry; BIAS Manuf@cturing Solutions, Biennial Exhibition of the IT Global Solutions for Industry; Mechanical Power Transmission & Motion Control, Biennial International Exhibition of Motion Control Systems, Drive Techniques and Mechanical Power Transmissions and BI.MAN, Biennial Exhibition on Industrial Maintenance. Exhibits span automation, fluid power, motion control, microelectronics, mechanical power transmission, maintenance, and IT software.

In-depth tutorial programs are scheduled in conjunction with the event and will provide a stream of knowledge and updates.

Fluidtrans Compomac 2008 is promoted by Fiera Milano Tech and ASSOFLUID, Italian Association of Hydraulics and Pneumatics manufacturers, and is organized by F&M Fiere & Mostre. It is officially endorsed by the main national and international trade associations: AIPI, Italian Association of Industrial Engineers; CETOP, Hydraulics and Pneumatics Transmission European Committee; EPTDA, European Power Transmission Distributors Association; and EUROTRANS, European Committee of Transmission Equipment and Gear Manufacturers.
