This Fall's MINExpo, sponsored by the National Mining Association, already has 850 exhibitors in place, and is expecting 35,000 attendees at the four-day show. The event, scheduled for Sept. 27-30 in Las Vegas, is held every four years, and has become a
hotbed for fluid power due to the huge forces required and the brutal conditions experienced by today's mining machinery.
For the first time, the MINExpo 2004 Web site — at www. minexpo.com — is offering online registration and housing information to facilitate participants' registration and arrangements for accommodations. Attendees can follow direct links to register online, book hotels, and purchase tour tickets. The hotel information includes maps and rates.
MINExpo's $100 registration fee includes admission to all educational sessions, as well as the exhibit hall. Early bird registration can be accomplished until Aug. 6 — after that, the registration fee increases to $175.
