HL (Hydraulic/Lube Oil) series immersion heaters are designed for cold-oil startup.
Offering low power densities (about 10 W/in.2) from 0.5 to 12 kW for mounting via 2, 2½, and 3 in. NPT screw plugs and 4½ in. OD flange mount, they can be directly immersed into storage vessels, tanks, and reservoirs. Adjustable thermostats allow oil to be heated overnight for a controllable start-up temperature. Weather-resistant terminal enclosures allow installation on outdoor equipment or where washdown conditions exist.
